This whip begins with a 3 layer nylon core on either a steel or fiberglass handle foundation. The core is then braided over by a 4 plait belly, an 8 plait belly, a 12 plait belly and finished in a 16 plait overlay. Each layer is tightly bound at the transition to survive the rigors of heavy use and abuse. The second belly is also weighted in the center to provide additional weight further along into the whip.
The whip's point comes standard with a 4 plait "Aussie style" fall hitch, but a 6 plait hitch, or twisted tail can be done if you prefer (refer to ordering page for pictures). Most people find this handle diameter comfortable, as it is a medium between the 12 plait and Tank bullwhips.
Steel handles are available in 8-12 inch lengths (handles can be cut shorter if requested.) Any handles longer than 12 inches will be made of fiberglass. Fiberglass handles are available in any length of your choice. A 6 or 8 plait wrist-loop can be added for $10. Each whip includes a spare fall and 5 crackers.
